Go big with your Jeep

You want the biggest screen possible in your 2018-up Jeep Wrangler JL/2020-up Jeep Gladiator, but the design of the factory dash makes it difficult. The iDatalink KIT-WJL2 factory system adapter (along with the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module, sold separately) lets you install a Pioneer iDatalink-ready shallow-mount 8" or 9" modular screen radio and wire it up to your Jeep, with fit and finish that matches your factory dash.

You'll retain your factory amplifier, steering wheel audio controls, and USB and aux inputs. Your compatible Pioneer head unit will add on-screen climate controls, vehicle information, and gauges when used with the Maestro RR or RR2 interface module. The KIT-WJL2 supports iDatalink'siDatalink ACC-HU-PIO1 adapter harness for direct connection to a compatible Pioneer modular-style receiver.

Note: The KIT-WJL2 does not retain the factory backup camera.

iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module

Connect a new stereo and retain the steering wheel audio controls and factory amps in select 2006-up vehicles

iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR module, along with the correct interface harness for your vehicle, allows you to install a new car stereo in select 2006-up Ford/Lincoln/Mercury, GM, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM, Toyota/Scion, Honda/Acura, Fiat, Subaru, Volkswagen/Audi, and other vehicles while retaining your factory steering wheel audio controls and the use of your factory amplifier, if present.

Here's how it works

First, you connect the Maestro to your computer using the included USB cable. .

Important Note: You will also need an additional Maestro vehicle-specific wiring harness that connects your new receiver to the ADS-MRR module and your vehicle's wiring. We will automatically add this harness to your Cart at a discounted price when you purchase a new car stereo and this ADS-MRR module.

Retain steering wheel audio controls, too

The ADS-MRR module also allows you to use your factory steering wheel audio controls with your new receiver. Using the intuitive web programming interface, each factory button can be assigned a specific radio function. Better yet, you can also assign a secondary "press and hold" radio function to each factory button, effectively doubling what can be controlled.

Keeping your factory features with an iDatalink-ready car stereo

If you're buying a compatible Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine receiver, you'll enjoy the outstanding performance of your receiver, plus seamless touchscreen control over most of the factory features in select vehicles.

Chrysler: You'll retain the use of the Uconnect® system (including voice command), along with your steering wheel audio controls and factory amp.

Fiat: You'll retain your vehicle's factory amp, USB port, and backup camera.

Ford: You'll keep your SYNC® system, including the factory Bluetooth, satellite radio (in select vehicles, see Details), steering wheel audio controls, and other great features.

GM: You'll retain the use of OnStar® system, along with your steering wheel audio controls, your factory amp, and safety warning chimes.

Honda: You'll retain your vehicle's steering wheel controls, Bluetooth, aux input, and factory amplifier.

Subaru: You'll retain your steering wheel controls, factory amp and sub, and Subaru backup camera.

Toyota: You'll retain your vehicle's A/V input, USB port, and backup camera.

• The iDatalink KIT-WJL2 factory system adapter (along with the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module, sold separately) lets you install and connect an iDatalink-ready shallow-depth double-DIN (4" tall) car stereo in your Jeep-made vehicle. You'll retain your steering wheel audio controls, along with the on-screen climate controls, cluster display, and factory amplifier.
• Radio Replacement Dash kit. The kit includes the main radio bezel, metal brackets. HU adapter ready install T-harness, antenna adapters and radio removal tools.
• The wiring harness features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into Idatalink's new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.
• With your iDatalink-ready car stereo, you'll retain your steering wheel audio controls, along with the on-screen climate controls and factory menus. You can also set up gauges on your new car stereo's touchscreen to check engine performance and display other vehicle information. The module retains all your factory backup cameras (except 360° camera). The kit includes bezels for 7" iDatalink-compatible radios and 9" Pioneer modular radios; the bezels' finish matches your factory dash.
